Community Service Challenge Update

Jerry ChanReunions

Call to Action for the Class of 2001:

As we enter the homestretch before our Virtual 20th Reunion, we wanted to repeat the appeal to our service and volunteering challenge.  While we can’t all be together this coming weekend, our ask for you is to take a few minutes a day, or an hour or two over the next few weeks, and channel that famous Princeton Spirit toward serving others!

We know that many of you have careers that already focus on public service, so we’d like to inspire just a little extra in the Spirit of Reunions — specifically, toward our goal of logging 2,001 hours of volunteering in honor of our class!  As of this past weekend, we’ve already recorded over 465 hours — let’s keep them coming…

Remember, you can count hours directly volunteering with your family, dollars donated to a charitable organization, time serving on a charity’s Board of Directors, or change-making however you can quantify it.  Choose whichever way makes the most sense for you! (And we will be giving special recognition to our outstanding classmates who put in the extra effort).

Children in Foster Care

We are keeping the challenge for our class going until we reach the goal — so please, don’t forget to log your minutes and dollars in service; every one of them will count!  With YOUR help we can answer our calling to Service and do it in the Spirit of Reunions — Go, Tigers, Go!

Sincerely,
Anne and Adam
